Reminiscing those days in TH...
Today, I woke up v early to go for Nus Rag Day. 1 yr ago, I was wearing e Temasek Hall (TH) orientation t-shirt wandering ard the SRC while many beautiful floats n lively performance were showcased. It was a memorable experience. Cheering under the hot sun for our hall was fun, but it was v v tiring too. Cos our hall orientation lasted for 2 wks. Yup.. haha.. v enthu huh. Thou it was tiring, i guessed it kinda served as a v impt bonding activity for halls.
This morning, I went back to watch Rag. I wanted to relive tt exciting moment.. wanted to feel the robust energy fr the cheering crowds. I need to shout. I want to scream n feel damn proud of the hard work tt these nus participants have put in. Those impressive floats and good dance choreographies definitely meant more than merely entertaining the crowds. Its the sense of pride tt every participant feels in his heart tt matters.
Me n franchipani managed to squeeze our way thru the huge crowds. We finally landed in the.. erm... science fac cheering crowd section (note: both of us r nt in sci fac). Sci fac supporters were in their orientation tee.. in blue t-shirt. I was in er.. white. Franchipani was in black. Haha.. ya.. we stand out in the crowd. We were jus beside the VIP area. The view was fantastic. We managed to catch many performances. I was screaming v loudly.. cheering v loudly! I did the Sci fac cheers. Din know most of them.. but i picked up those cheers v fast. So, aft following closely those cheers a few times, I was totally blended into the SCIENCE FACULTY FAMILY!!! Screamin my lungs out for Sci fac.. doin actions and grinning fr ear to ear w those sci fac ppl. They din know tt.. i was fr.. erm.. ARTS FAC. ahahahhaa..I mean.. I love to cheer. Haha.. it was fun!!!!! We shd all be supportive n friendly, isnt it? ( I think franchipani cldn't stand me.. she burst out laughin a few times as i screamed my lungs out doing those cheers. kekeke..)
