Nobody believed she could sing the way she sang.
The cynicism, the mocking, the sneering from the audiences and the panel.
A share of it.. from you and me.
Shock.
Her voice gripped your heart.
The song gripped your heart because it was sang by her.
The feeling was so tremendous juxtaposing with the earlier ridicule.
And when she finished delivering her piece, she walked away.
Perhaps, she was nervous; Perhaps, she has already made her point.
All she wanted to do is to sing in front of a huge audience.
After 47 years of her life.
she made this move.
But it was more than that,
she herself... is a fairytale to the modern, cynical bunch of city dwellers.
Touching our heart so deeply.
leaving us speechless and teary-eyed, regardless of our age.
And now, there is a sudden huge outburst of attention dedicated to the simple, village girl.
Fanclub? Websites? Interviews?
No matter how short-lived the attention,
no matter how ridiculous this surge of attention seems...
At least, she made an impact to those who watched that performance.
perhaps a 'wakeup call' as mentioned by the female judge,
we need more of such fairytales to reflect and to be touched by the beautiful things that happen in our lives.
